NOTE: There’s one restaurant – actually, a diner – that’s missing from this list. (We think that they were too busy stirring the soup and peeling the potatoes to submit an entry!) The name is BETSY’s DINER – across from the PEKING PALACE (also very, very good) on Main Street. Home-made stuff, reasonable prices, quaint kick-back to the 50’s. Also, if you insist on eating lunch exactly at noon, you’ll be disappointed. Long, long line. (We’re not the only ones who think they’re something special.)
